Another busy weekend - lots of lovely weddings.
On Friday it was off to Kings where the bride had chosen royal blue taffeta and blue and white ostrich centrepieces - looked stunning.
and the bride and groom had our cream aisle runner to welcome them to the reception.
Then another royal blue taffeta wedding at the Compleat Angler this time with pearl and diamante brooches on the back with our silk rose bushes for the start of the aisle. Sunday we were at Northbook Park where we put on 230 pale green hoods with dusky pink roses in the back! So the whole weekend we were working with either blue or green!

We had a large wedding at the Kings Hotel in Stokenchurch, with gold hoods and crystal brooches, silver candelabra and the sun shone!
Another wedding at the Oxford Belfry with beautiful teal green sashes which looked great in their room - hope you had a good day Nicola and Mark.
A smallish wedding at Huntswood Golf Club with refreshing mint green sashes finished our day.
On Sunday (Mothers Day) we supplied Missenden Abbey with vintage china including cake stands and teapots and they did afternoon teas for 109 - we gather that this was a great success.
Sunday was my first Sunday off since the end of January, I spent it catching up in the garden and enjoying the sun!

Wedding season is upon us again and 2014 looks very busy!
We have added new items for this year and they are proving very popular.
We have new ruffle sashes for a totally new look. Limited colours available but these are going to be very hot over the next year!

Another busy weekend!
We used crystal silver sashes for a small wedding at Stirrups Country House Hotel with added diamante buckles for extra sparkle.
We had a black and white themed wedding at Danesfield House where we used black taffeta sashes which give a beautiful bow - just so sorry that the day started so well weatherwise and then down came the rain!
Then on Sunday the sun came out at last and we set up a beautiful sage green sash on the white chair covers in the Versailles room at Danesfield House for a special birthday party.

I cant believe that last year we had beautiful March weather - and the year before - and this year its been so terrible!
When will we get some sun.??
Three weddings this weekend, at Danesfield House, Stoke Park and Chartridge so I hope my brides have wonderful days - even if the weather isnt as kind as it could be!

Well the wedding season is upon us and many of you may have met me over the last few weeks at the wedding fairs we have been involved in. Our last wedding fair for a few weeks is at Missenden Abbey this Sunday and we will have both types of chair covers set up and will be showing our beautiful vintage lace hoods to their full glory in the beautiful setting of the Abbey. Come along and have a look, see the organza, taffeta and satin sashes I have as well as the lace hoods. I also hire out silver and gold candelabras and stunning cream ones if you want the full vintage look. I hope to see some of you there!
